1. Our “Try at the Door” Promise
At Gabi, we are revolutionizing the way you shop for fashion online. We offer a unique “Try at the Door” return policy to ensure you are completely happy with your purchase. This means you have the opportunity to inspect and try on eligible items at the moment of delivery, providing you with a risk-free and confident shopping experience.
2. The At-the-Door Return Process
Returns are accepted only at the time of delivery, while our driver is present.
Inspection Window: You will have approximately 10-20 minutes to inspect your items and try on eligible clothing to ensure the fit and style are right for you. Our driver is instructed to wait patiently during this time but cannot wait longer to maintain their delivery schedule.
How to Return: If you decide not to keep an item, simply hand it back to the delivery driver.
Final Sale: Once our driver leaves, the sale is considered final, and no further returns will be accepted.
3. Conditions for an Eligible Return
For an item to be eligible for a return at the door, it must meet the following conditions:
It must be in its original, unaltered, and undamaged condition.
All original tags must still be attached to the item.
If an item came in its own packaging (e.g., a shoebox), that packaging must also be returned.
4. Items Not Eligible for Return (Final Sale)
The following items are considered final sale from the moment of purchase for hygiene and safety reasons and cannot be returned or tried on:
Underwear & Socks
Swimwear
Hats & Headwear
Pierced Earrings
Any other item clearly marked as “Final Sale” on its product page.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
Our refund process is simple and depends on your original payment method.
For Pre-Paid Orders (e.g., Mobile Money): If you return an item from a pre-paid order, a full monetary refund for the returned item(s) will be processed to your original payment method within 24 hours.
For Cash on Delivery Orders: If you return an item from a Cash on Delivery order, you will simply pay the driver the new, adjusted total for the items you decide to keep.
6. Policy on Partial Returns & Delivery Fees
We are happy to accept partial returns (returning some items from a larger order). Please note how this may affect delivery fees:
Our free delivery offer is based on an order total equal to or greater than our stated threshold.
If a partial return causes your final order total to drop below the free delivery threshold, the standard delivery fee will be applied.
For Pre-Paid Orders: The delivery fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.
For Cash on Delivery Orders: The delivery fee will be added to your new final payment total.
7. Accepted Reasons for Return
You may return any eligible item at the door for any of the following reasons:
The size or fit is not right for you.
The item has visible damage or a defect.
You received the wrong item.
The item is significantly different from its photo or description on the product page. An item is considered “significantly different” if its core attributes (e.g., garment type, color family, pattern) are completely different from what was ordered.
8. Policy Updates
Gabi reserves the right to amend or update this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most current version. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
