Gabi Size Guide
Welcome!
Finding the right size online can be tricky, especially with unique, thrift fashion. This guide is here to help you shop confidently and choose pieces that fit you just right.
🔑 The Golden Rule: Check the Measurements
The most important info on any product page is the garment’s exact measurements in centimeters (cm).
To find your best fit:
Match with a similar item you already own, or
Compare with your body measurements (remember to leave room for comfort).
Part 1: How to Find Your Size
✅ Option 1: Compare Clothing You Already Own (Recommended)
Choose a similar item from your closet that fits well.
Lay it flat and measure key points like the chest (measure pit-to-pit and double it).
Compare your measurements to the ones listed on our product page.
🧵 Option 2: Measure Your Body
Use a soft measuring tape. If you don’t have one, use a rope, cable, or shoelace and measure it against a ruler or an object with a known length like A4 paper (30 cm tall).
Add 5 to 20 cm to your chest or bust measurement when comparing with garment measurements.
For best results, measure your body without clothes or over light underwear. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Key Body Measurements:
Chest / Bust – Around the fullest part
Waist – Around the narrowest part of your torso
Hips – Around the fullest part of your hips and bottom
- Height – Helps judge the overall length of garments
Part 2: Body Size Charts and Ease
📊 How to Use the Charts
The charts show body measurements, not garment measurements. Use them to find your general size.

🧘 What is Ease and Why It Matters
Garments are made with extra space called ease so you can move comfortably and breathe easily.
Add 5 to 20 cm to your chest or bust measurement when comparing with garment dimensions.
This space allows for comfort, movement, and style.
👉 Always check the exact measurements listed on the product page for the best fit.
Part 3: How We Measure Our Clothes
We measure every garment flat to give you exact dimensions. These are the terms you’ll find on product pages:
👕 Tops, Dresses and Jackets
Chest – Measured pit-to-pit and doubled
Length – From the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem
Shoulders – Straight across from one shoulder seam to the other
Sleeve Length – From center back of the neck, over the shoulder, and down to the wrist, keeping your arms relaxed at your sides.
👖 Trousers, Jeans and Skirts
Waist – Measured across the waistband and doubled
Hips – Widest part of the garment, measured flat and doubled
Inseam – From the crotch seam down the inside of the leg
Length (Outseam) – From the top of the waistband to the bottom hem along the outer side
